Yes, we are still alive! We didn’t get stuck with Lucha Libre in Mexico City. It is not the virus which is holding us back, although too much Corona (beer) in Mexico can make us lazy… ๐ This is gonna be a general post before we get back to the regular schedule. Corona won’t stop us!
Mexican Corona
We won’t deny that the news isn’t getting to us. Of course everybody is talking about it. At bus stations, our accomodations and on the street you get flyers about Corona. We even were approached in a small city personally with information how to proper wash hands and use disinfectant.
As everything is constantly changing we are trying to stick to our original plan and continue travelling through the Southern part of Mexico right now. Everything in Mexico is quite as usual so far.
So what to do when everything gets literally to shit and we would get stuck? Will we panickly buy tons of toilet paper? I don’t think so. Do we just relax on the beach in Mexico with some Coronas in our hands? Yes, definitely! โบ๐ป But as always don’t just ignore the problem! Think about it camly and then make a decision what you think is best. ๐
Travelling right now…
Starting to travel in the current situation is of course not advised right now! As we haven’t been in Europe since October we think that we are more safe here then flying home right now.
But our plans are changing. Sadly we have to admit that we can’t travel to South-East-Asia right now. So our biggest problem is how will we continue travelling around the world as more and more borders get closed? What will be our next destination? If somebody has some suggestions or is in the same situation you can always reach out. We will keep you up to date! And please all remain calm and help each other out! ๐ Corona won’t stop us!
