Hi there, we are Magda and Christian from Munich, Germany.
As we are both in our thirties, we have already travelled around a little but always with limited time: When we were little, our parents took us for holidays of maximum 4 weeks in summer time, and after we started working it was the same with taking only 3 weeks off in a row for exploring different countries and cultures. Therefore you kind of always are in a hurry to see as much as possible and unfortunately miss to really get to know a country, its people and culture.
Since we both are passionate about travelling, we already made some short trips together before we decided to travel to Indonesia in 2018. As we were travelling around for 3 weeks (as always) we met a lot of backpackers from all over the world. When talking about where to go next, we always had to check how much time we got left, where as the other backpackers just relaxed and told us that they still had so much time, even months (!), left and they did not know where to go next.
Of course we were pretty jealous of them! 😉
But that was the time when we decided we want to do the same: Just travelling around without checking the days left all the time!
That was the beginning of our idea! We started talking, reading and planning and now here we are:
On 1. October 2019 we start travelling around the world for about 10 months!
And with VRtravelling we want to share our experiences, stories and all about the journey with everybody out there! 😉
We don’t want to make just another travel blog, but share our passion for travelling the world and creating creative content like VR, AR and 360° videos!
