Colonial and rainy

Leaving colourful Guanajuato behind, we headed a little bit Southwest to another small colonial city: Morelia. As we arrived in the evening we just got a quick overview of the city. But we already knew: okay, this won’t be something completely new. πŸ˜…

As it reminded us a lot of the last colonial style cities we weren’t so stunned anymore. Even though the cathedral was quite big and impressive again. But we must be honest…after about 5 months of travelling we have seen so many churches, cathedrals and of course colonial style buildings, that we are getting a little sick of it. πŸ™ˆ

We also didn’t have the best timing: It rained the only day we had for Morelia and Christian still had a little bit of a cold… β˜”πŸ™ Therfore we strolled through the city quite quick. Had some good Tacos, cheap burgers and then enjoyed the loud noise in our apartment. So we are sorry Morelia… We think you are really beautiful, but we won’t remember you as something that special… πŸ˜…
