After the plan was ready and we knew where we want to go and for how long, there was one big question left:
What about work? 🤔
As we were both in a regular full-time employment, we had to consider what to do about it.
Christian thought about changing the job anyways, so he decided to just quit. His boss was not that happy about it, but Christian already had his last day of work in the end of August. So he had time for his own projects and planning for the trip.
Magda was not quite sure, but told her team leader and boss about the plan. After the first moment of shock, they offered her an unpaid leave with the option to come back to regular conditions after the 10 months.
Magda ws really happy about that option and had her last day of work in the middle of September.
The last two weeks before the big trip began and Magda and Christian are organizing the last things and getting really excited! 😱😉🌍
